summer's here!

summer has finally arrived, and the weather we are having confirms the fact.
it is hot and dry, but we are blessed here in northern california with cool mornings and evenings.
it feels so good to be outdoors!
we have been busy shopping and have some great stuff that we have been excited to show you...

right after i last posted back on the 15th, i lost internet service.

my dsl modem died, and i was unable to find one to replace it...seems at & t had a widespread problem with the modems they provided their customers.

hmmmm...very curious.

well, whatever.

i am just so glad to be back and look forward to finally being able to show and share some of our lastest finds.

the picture above shows a fabulous 1930 chandelier that we have restored and dressed up with prisms and candles...so lovely for wonderful summer dining al fresco.

the photo is a quick one kristi and i took yesterday, so it really doesn't do this piece justice...i will post better photos when we offer it for sale this weekend.

it's good to be back!
