vintage china plates

kristi went yard sale-ing for a bit today, while i was laid up with a bad back (which almost never happens to me.)
she found a vintage drop leaf table in a great small size that will be wonderful when painted. she also found the plates above; they are all very different and interesting. some are antique, the others vintage. some are english, and two are french.

we are excited because we have several shopping trips planned for this week and are gearing up for autumn.
neither one of us much care for the month of august with its unrelenting heat and dryness (we very rarely get summer rain here in california) so we pass the time by looking forward to fall and the renewed energy that the cooler weather will bring.
meanwhile, we keep busy hunting for fresh vintage finds to stock our shop for the busy autumn shopping season.
hope your saturday was fun and that you have a wonderful start to your week tomorrow.
we will report in throughout the week!

Hi Karla and Kristi! It was such a pleasure to meet you on Friday!
Hope your back is better, Karla.
Thank you again for the sweet little gift, and I look forward to coming back in to Clocksmith Antiques when I have more time and money to spend!
Those little china plates are lovely. It always amazes me how many different types and patterns there are!
